
Doris Day, one of the America’s most iconic actresses. entertained the world with her talents from the time she was in her 20s all the way through the 1970s. She starred in several memorable films, including Pillow Talk, It Happened To Jane, , Love Me or Leave Me, Lover Come Back. and one of her biggest hits, Calamity Jane. in the 1960s, she received her TV Show, The Doris Day Show, that lasted until 1973. Aside from her roles on-screen, Doris Day was perhaps better known for her music, with several of hit records still being used in movies and TV shows today. Songs like ‘Dream A Little Dream Of Me’, ‘Que Sera, Sera (Whatever Will Be, Will Be)’, and ‘Fly Me To The Moon’ showcased her lovely voice and remain classics to this day. Though iconic in the 50s and 60s, in her later years, Doris lived a quiet life in Calfornia, working as an animal welfare activist and founded the Doris Day Animal Foundation. She sadly passed away at the age of 97 on May 13th, 2019.
