EDINBURGH and Scotland star John Hardie has been suspended by club and country for alleged cocaine use.
BBC Scotland claims the 29-year-old flanker will not take part in Scotland’s upcoming autumn Tests against Samoa, New Zealand and Australia.

The country’s governing body for rugby announced that Hardie is under internal investigation but it was “unable to comment further given the nature of the investigation.”
Hardie has been capped 16 times by his country after making his debut in August 2015.

But he’s made just three appearances this year thanks to the emergence of Edinburgh team-mate Hamish Watson.
The report adds that Hardie has not failed any drugs tests.

But it’s yet another headache for Edinburgh, who have already suspended skipper Magnus Bradbury.
He’s under internal investigation after suffering a head injury during a night out after the recent Pro14 victory against Zebre.
And it also means Scotland are without another important player for their trio of Tests coming up in November.
Captain Greig Laidlaw and Glasgow ace Fraser Brown are already missing, which means Gregor Townsend has some big decisions to make before the opener against Samoa.
